FAQ'S.......

Q: Is there a waiting list?

A: We do have a waiting list. The earlier you register with us the better. We require a £35 deposit to secure your child's place. Places for Under 2's (nursery) require a £50 deposit

 

Q: Can I make an appointment to visit?

A:  We don't normally require an appointment; visitors are welcome to drop in.    .

 

Q: Where can I find the OFSTED report on the Pre-School?

A: Search on the Ofsted Inspections page and you will find our report from last year - we received a Good rating

 

Q: What age can my child start?

A: Your child can start from the age of 6 months (please contact us if you require earlier as we will consider individual needs) - generally Government Funding is currently  available for 3 yrs olds, although there is funding available for 2yr olds in certain circumstances.  Please ask for more information.

 

Q: Do you have a minimum number of days for a child to attend?

A: We require children attend a minimum of 2 days a week to help them settle in.

 

Q: Can I apply for funding?

A: Your child becomes eligible for 15 hrs funding at the start of the term following their third birthday.   We will claim            the funding directly from the County Council, all you need to do is complete a simple form. From Sept       2017 eligible children will be able to access 30 hrs.

    We are also registered with The Children's Information Service to provide funded sessions for eligible 2 year olds,             your Health Visitor will be able to advise you whether you are eligible for 15 hrs funding.

 

Q: Can you accommodate children with special needs?

A: Yes we do have experienced and qualified staff who will work to create an environment which meets the needs of each      child.  Our new building has special features to ensure that all children are able to access early education.

 

Q: How do I pay for non funded hours?

A:  You will be given an invoice at the start of each term, we offer a variety of payment options including monthly Direct         Debit.  We also accept Childcare Vouchers which are readily available from many employers.
